For this task we have been given an idea by the NHS to create a high quality film to help promote the importance of washing your hands when entering and leaving the wards. Our aim is to create a 90 – 120 second film and to get the message across to the audience without using sound as it will be played in the entrance of the Hospital. To start off with a stop motion using a big white A1 card showing someone writing letters that spell out ‘Wash Your Hands’ capturing 10 shots for each letter. The video will then cut to a clapperboard on screen ready for the next part of the video which will be people walking into the Salford Royal Hospital finding which ward to go to. The shots will be shooting patients and nurses on the ward washing their hands regularly each time they leave and entre the ward zooming in to capture the action and aiming on how important it is in a Hospital to wash your hands. For this message to be sent across to the audience we will shoot different times when nurses are washing their hands and capture from different angles. After filming in the hospital we are then going to create as a group an animation to show a step by step guide showing how easy it is to wash your hands, this will be done in a child like way so its sending the message to all age groups.
